Watch videos or view posts with others in a call on Instagram
You can watch posts and reels in an audio or video call with others from the Instagram app for Android and iPhone.
View content together
While in a call, there are a few ways to view posts and watch reels together.
To share content from a call:
- Tap
at the bottom of your active call.
- Tap
Watch. From here you can tap:
- Suggested to view suggested posts.
- Liked to view posts you’ve liked.
- Saved to view posts you’ve saved.
- Reels to watch reels.
Share content to a call from your feed:- Tap
in the top left to make your active video chat appear in a small frame on your device, then go to your feed.
- Tap
below the post you'd like to add to the call, then tap Share post to the call.
Share content to a call from your chat:- Tap
- Tap
to share a photo or video from your library.
- Photos, posts, reels and videos you share to your chat will also automatically share to an active call that is started from your chat.
To stop viewing content together in your call, tap Remove in the top right of the media player.
Keep in mind that changing the volume or muting what you're watching will only affect your device.
