How do I update my payment method on my Instagram account?
If you're having issues paying for an ad on Instagram, learn more about payments for Instagram ads.
You can add a new payment method, or update or remove an existing payment method with Facebook Pay on Instagram at any time. Learn more about accepted payment methods.
To add, update or remove a payment method with Facebook Pay on Instagram:
  1. In the bottom right, tap instagram-user-profile or your profile picture to go to your profile.
  2. In the top right, tap more options.
  3. Tap Orders and Payments.
  4. Tap Payment Settings.
  5. Tap Add Payment Method to add a new card or PayPal account, or tap an existing payment method to make an update. To remove a payment method, tap Remove Card or Remove at the bottom.
When you place an order on Instagram, you may receive a notification if there was an issue processing your payment information. Tap this notification or tap the order in Orders and Payments and follow the on-screen instructions to update your payment info.
Additionally, If you have already set up Facebook Pay on Facebook, you may be able to connect it to Instagram for a seamless payment experience across both apps (availability varies).
