Manage scheduled messages from businesses
This feature isn't available to everyone.
When you chat with a business on Instagram, the business might offer you the choice to opt-in to receive messages about certain topics regularly. These topics could include promotions, new products or classes, and other updates.
Tap Get messages to receive messages about these topics based on the schedule shown (for example, Get weekly messages). The business chooses the schedule of messages.
To opt-out, mute or report these messages from a business:
  1. Tap send in the top right of your feed.
  2. Tap on the chat with the business.
  3. Find the gray text acknowledging that you've chosen to receive these specific daily, weekly or monthly messages from the business.
  4. Tap Manage.
  5. To stop receiving this specific category of messages regularly, tap Stop these messages. To silence the entire chat, tap Mute messages.
  6. To report an issue, such as scamming, tap Report and follow the on-screen instructions.
Meta doesn't control the content or topic of the messages that businesses send. You may continue to receive other messages about the same or different topics in addition to the messages you choose to receive, including ones that could be promotional in nature.
The recurring schedule of messages is based on the timezone of the business. This means that in some cases, you may receive an additional message per day, week or month, depending on which frequency you’ve opted into.
Tapping Stop these messages only ends the scheduling of messages on that topic. A business can continue to contact you about the same topics at other times.
If you’d like to stop all communications with a business, learn how to block an account on Instagram.
